Porvair Sciences hat einen Referenzleitfaden für Wissenschaftler angekündigt, der die chemikalische Kompatibilität der auf Mikroplatten verwendeten Materialien mit einer Reihe von laborüblichen Chemikalien beschreibt.

Die benutzerfreundliche Referenzanleitung, die direkt auf der Webseite von Porvair Sciences heruntergeladen werden kann, beschreibt die Kompatibilität zwischen den verschiedenen Mikroplatten-Matrizen und Membranen und einer Reihe von Säuren, Alkoholen, Basen, Estern, Kohlenwasserstoffen, chlorierten Kohlenwasserstoffen, Ketonen und anderen Chemikalien. Basierend auf den bei Zimmertemperatur durchgeführten Tests werden zu jedem Material entsprechende Daten zur chemischen Kompatibilität als "geeignet", "OK bei mittelfristiger Nutzung" oder "ungeeignet" angegeben.
