New BOY 100 E for BENELUX

BOY premieres at Equip-Plast

Neustadt-Fernthal, (PresseBox) - At the Belgian plastics exhibition in Leuven (May 14 - 15, 2014), a BOY 100 E will be shown for the first time. Equip-Plast - an association of manufacturers and dealers of the plastics industry in the border triangle of Belgium-Netherlands-Luxembourg - will organize this annual trade fair.

The BOY 100 E will produce flawless frisbees during the two-day exhibition. Generous tie bar distances and daylight between platens and the cantilevered two-platen clamping system enable the use of even larger moulds. The BOY 100 E is equipped with the new EconPlast unit, servo-motor pump drive and the easy to operate Procan ALPHA ® 2 control.

Saving without loss of performance

The largest BOY injection moulding machine with a clamping force of 1.000 kN will surely impress the fair attendees through its quiet operation, dynamics and high precision. This is due to the servo drive, which makes full use of its performance advantages. In combination with the new EconPlast heating technology, the E-Series can reduce energy costs by 50% or more depending on the application. With the new EconPlast plasticizing unit, which was presented for the first time at K 2013, the melting of plastics is clearly more efficient, energy efficient and material friendly.

In the Netherlands there is an energy-saving MJA agreement. The industry has committed itself to pay particular attention to the implementation of energy saving measures in the development and market launch of new products. Due to this arrangement, all manufacturers, trading partners and operators are called to use predominantly energy-efficient products. Therefore, BOY feels well positioned in these markets through the use of their energy efficient technologies.

Plastima Breda B.V., which is responsible for BENELUX, is a member of the Equip-Plast association and is looking forward to your visit in Leuven.
