New manager for On and Off-Grid Projects at Donauer Solartechnik

Gilching, (PresseBox) - In the light of its successful business development Donauer Solartechnik is expanding its management team. Andreas Fornwald (46) will lead the business area On and Off-Grid Projects. In this newly created position he is responsible for the acquisition of solar projects worldwide, the creation of new concepts for off-grid solar systems and for the commercial launch of innovative solutions for local energy. "It is one of my most important goals, to position Donauer Solartechnik as market leader for off-grid systems", underlines Fornwald.

The qualified electrical engineer with an MBA from Stanford University has held various management positions at Siemens AG. Most recently Fornwald was the director of Ormazabal GmbH, the former F&G AG and now subsidiary of the Spanish Ormazabal group, which offers products and solutions for energy distribution.

Donauer Solartechnik Vertriebs GmbH is active all over Europe as a leading specialist distributor of photovoltaic products, e-mobility and off-grid solutions. Its main focus is on the trade with high-quality products relating to photovoltaics, customer service and engineering. Assembly systems, solar heating systems and solar bikeports are based on its own technical developments and production. The company was founded in 1995 and today employs around 230 people. Its headquarters are in Gilching, near Munich, and it has branches in Portugal, Italy, France, Belgium and Great Britain. Further locations are planned.
