Der IT-Sicherheitsspezialist Doctor Web aktualisiert die Dr.Web Virendatenbanken bis auf Version 9.0 in den Produkten Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0, Dr.Web Antivirus 9.0 und 10.0 für Linux, Dr.Web Antivirus 10.0 für Mac OS X, Dr.Web Antivirus für Dateiserver UNIX, Dr.Web Antivirus für Internet-Gateways UNIX, Dr.Web Antivirus für Mailserver UNIX und Dr.Web Antivirus für Novell Storage Services 6.0.2.9.

Dank des Updates werden die Virendatenbanken schneller geladen. Der Systemstart wird dadurch beschleunigt und das Antivirenprogramm kann schneller gestartet werden. Das Suchmodul in den oben erwähnten Versionen bleibt bestehen und entspricht der Version 7.
