Brüggen-Bracht, (PresseBox) - The FCA 7300 series universal steering wheel measurement system belong currently to the most accurate on the market.
This new generation of systems includes numerous state-of-the-art technological innovations:
The FCA 7300 series already implements the entire signal conversion including integral angular reset, a torque - tare function and a start-trigger signal for remote data acquisition.
The influence of the friction of the bearing on the torque measurement was eliminated to enable high accuracy measurement even at very low torques.
The FCA can easily be mounted on any road vehicle using flanges between steering wheel and the steering column. A disassembly of the steering column is not necessary.
You get practically the same driving "feel" as with a standard steering wheel because of the flat and ergonomic design.
With eleven different available torque measuring ranges, from ± 10Nm to ±250Nm, there is a suitable sensor to match almost any measurement project.
Available are mechanical steering stops between ± 15 ° and ± 165 °. These stops fold away in emergencies, for optimal safety making "no-panic " buttons redundant.
Typical applications are automotive design & test, laboratory and R&D as well as component testing.
