Neuer EPB-PW Drucksensor für Bodenmechanikmessungen

Porenwassersensoren messen den Druck von Grundwasser in Spalten (Poren) zwischen Teilchen im Boden oder Gestein. Porenwasserdruck ist für die Berechnung des Spannungszustands und das mechanische und hydrologische Verhalten des Bodens von signifikanter Bedeutung, da es zu Bewegungen des Erdreichs führen kann. Hierdurch entsteht die Gefahr, dass beispielsweile Windkrafträder, Brückenpfeiler, Ölplattformen, Gebäude, Dämme oder unterirdische Pipelines den Halt verlieren und einbrechen.

Der frontbündige Drucksensor EPB-PW wurde nun, nach vielen Jahren Entwicklung, speziell für Porenwasser-Anwendungen entwickelt, insbesondere für Versuchsaufbauten, die diese Bodenmechanik im Labor simulieren.
