DILAS to Present at the AKL International Laser Technology Congress
Dr. Biesenbach's paper will focus on the progress within the semiconductor laser technology. Improvements in the process of epitaxial growing and new material combinations result in a wide wavelength spectrum. Extensions to shorter wavelengths down to 410nm (blue) as well as up to 2200nm (IR) for highpower diode laser modules are possible. The achievement of high output powers enables new applications such as plastics welding without additives, photodynamic therapy (PDT) and gated viewing.
In addition, Dr. Biesenbach will talk about integrating new wavelengths into DILAS' wellknown diode laser designs as well as about accessories and optional features.
The International Laser Technology Congress will focus on applications of laser technology in the production environment and is organized by Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, a leading contract research institute which has established a reputation in the field of laser technology.
