Compact, High-Efficiency, 100µm Fiber-Coupled Module

DILAS, the diode laser company, has developed a high brightness, conductioncooled fibercoupled diode laser module based on diode laser bars that provides up to 40 watts output power from a 100micron fiber core at a wavelength of 976nm with a numerical aperture of <0.22.

Ensuring high power, brightness and power efficiency, DILAS has achieved test results with wallplug efficiency of greater than 40% at operating current.

The electrically isolated singlebar package with a small footprint is a key feature in this product's architecture, measuring 70mm x 30mm x 17mm (L x W x H).

The laser power from the fibercoupled module is delivered via a nondetachable fiber core which is terminated with a standard SMA 905 connector or cleaved fiber end. With excellent heat removal by direct thermal contact, this industrial package is ideally designed for a wide array of applications that range from fiber laser pumping to micromaterials processing to medical.

This product will be officially released Q3 of this year after going through DILAS' release process to ensure highest quality and reliability.
