Der Aachener Kommunikationsspezialist devolo greift im Rahmen einer Kooperation mit der Intellon Corporation auf die HomePlug® AV Powerline ICs (Integrated Circuits) von Intellon zurück. Die Komponenten des führenden Anbieters von Powerline-Schaltungen, die auf dem HomePlug®-AV-Standard basieren, kommen in den neuen dLAN 200 AV-Adaptern von devolo zum Einsatz. Serviceprovider und Endkunden können mit Hilfe dieser Technologie mehrere Video- oder Audio- Streams in High-Definition-Qualität über die bestehende Stromleitung im Haus verteilen. Damit steht eine ideale Lösung für High-Definition-IPTV-, Triple-Play- und Multimedia-Entertainment-Anwendungen bereit.
