Within its OPTRIBUTION® product family for the optical transmission, reception and distribution of RF signals in satellite ground stations and CATV head-ends, DEV Systemtechnik has expanded its portfolio and now offers modules to be used in their OPTRIBUTION® Chassis based on DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology. With DEV's OPTRIBUTION® System for DWDM, 48 signals can be transmitted over one single optical fiber simultaneously with a maximum signal quality over a distance of more than 200 kilometers. A DEV OPTRIBUTION® Chassis of 3 RU can be equipped with a 16:1 DWDM System.
