Carine Chardon, managing director of Deutsche TV-Plattform: "The restrictions in public life due to the Covid 19 pandemic have created momentum in the TV set business in 2020. Nevertheless, the increased sales figures are good news for manufacturers and retailers - and also for content providers, because the rising market penetration of smart TVs increases the basis for the introduction of innovative services."
