Deutsche Telekom wins multiple Investor Relation Awards
Deutsche Telekom ranked first in the Pan-European Extel Survey for an unprecedented third year in a row
CFO Thomas Dannenfeldt: "The relationship with our shareholders is very important to us"
Deutsche Telekom keeps its outstanding reputation for investor and analyst communication. Following the great success last year, Deutsche Telekom's Investor Relations again won the most important prizes for investor relations. The company's Investor Relations team not only again won this year’s Institutional Investor Survey in the category telecommunication with a clean sweep (best company, best CEO, best CFO and best IR) but was again honored by "Deutscher Investor Relations Preis" of the German Investor Relations Association (DIRK) as best DAX Company and best IR team.
In the Pan-European Extel Survey it scored highest of all 1.677 participating listed companies for the best investor relations work in all categories, for an unprecedented third year in a row. With that Deutsche Telekom sets a record.
For the first time in the history of the Pan-European Extel Survey, a company has been ranked as best Pan-European Investor Relations across all sectors for three years in a row. Given its overall number one rank Deutsche Telekom was also awarded to provide the best Investor Relations in Germany and in the telecommunications sector. This year more than 19,000 institutional investors around the world contributed to the Extel Survey. Extel surveys investors and analysts for the quality of the Investor Relations services since 1998. Hannes Wittig, who took over the company's Investor Relations unit last year was awarded the Deutscher Investor Relations Preis, coming first in the DAX category. In addition the survey awarded highest ranks to Tim Höttges, CEO, and Thomas Dannenfeldt, CFO, for their outstanding Investor Relations work.
"The relationship with our shareholders is very important to us, and we feel honoured and want to thank them for their support," noted Thomas Dannenfeldt, Chief Financial Officer at Deutsche Telekom. "We work hard so that our communication with analysts, major investors and with our private shareholders is fair and reliable."
