Madoff : 2 years after / Deminor has federated 2.500 investors who are actively mobilized to seek damages
Join the webcast session organized on December 9th - 3 PM CET to discuss the latest developments of the case
Deminor has been active on the Madoff case since December 2008, and represents on a worldwide basis (excluding the USA) the interests of 2.500 investors who have been directly impacted by the Madoff fraud and who have lost altogether around EUR 400 millions. A massive group of German victims (750 investors) recently joined the group.
Two years after the revelation of the Madoff fraud, the investors are more than ever mobilized to seek damages from the professionals who, by their negligence, made the Madoff fraud possible. In that respect, numerous complaints have been filed by Deminor in different jurisdictions. One the main question in stake remains the protection of EU investors who put their savings into investments products regulated at the EU level, such as UCITS funds (e.g., Luxalpha and Herald Lux).
The second anniversary of the Madoff fraud will be the opportunity to discuss the recent actions undertaken by Deminor as well as the latest developments of the case in Europe and in the USA.
