- International jury rewards expert organisation in three categories
- A total of 2,260 entries from 34 countries to the oldest and largest global annual report competition
Prestigious award for the DEKRA Annual Report 2012: The financial report by the international expert organisation was awarded the ARC Gold Award in the "Cover/Photo Design" category at the oldest and largest global annual report competition in New York. The complete work received silver and bronze for printing and production quality.
"We are delighted about this prestigious international award and recognition," said Stephan Heigl, Director of Communications and Marketing at DEKRA. "The prize is validation and an incentive to continue providing our target groups with creative and informative annual reports."
What the international jury particularly liked about the DEKRA 2012 Annual Report was the idea of the green safety belt in combination with the high-quality embossing, which creates a tactile experience. The expert jury bestowed the silver award for the attractive overall arrangement of the annual report with its tidy design and the combination of the magazine section titled "Committed to Safety" and the presentation of the business units.
The ARC Awards, which enjoy high status in the annual report scene, have been presented annually by the US institution MerComm, Inc., and The International Academy of Arts & Sciences in Ossing, New York, since 1987. The ARC Awards ("Annual Report Competition") are bestowed in various categories and are also the largest and oldest international competition for annual reports. This year, there were a total of 2,260 entries from 34 countries. The jury consists of more than 200 voluntary judges and experts from investor relations, public relations, journalism and design.
