Preis zur Förderung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Industrie und Akademia

Die Vereinigung deutscher Biotechnologie-Unternehmen (VBU) verleiht am 31. Mai anlässlich der European BioPerspectives 2007 in Köln zum ersten Mal den VBU-Kooperationspreis. Der Preis ist eine Auszeichnung für herausragende innovative Produkte, Verfahren und Dienstleistungen aus dem Bereich der Life Sciences, die in Kooperationsprojekten von Unternehmen (insbesondere KMU) mit wissenschaftlich-technischen Forschungseinrichtungen entwickelt worden sind. Der Kooperationspreis ist mit einem Preisgeld in Höhe von 5.000 € dotiert, das zwischen Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtung geteilt wird.

Viele Unternehmen führen ihre Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaktivitäten teilweise oder gar vollständig in Kooperation mit externen Forschungseinrichtungen durch.
