Dassault Systèmes zeigt auf der Medtec Europe in Stuttgart das "Living Heart Project", ein realistisches 3D-Simulationsmodell des menschlichen Herzens. Es wurde gemeinsam mit Herzspezialisten zur Diagnose und Behandlung von Herz-Kreislauferkrankungen entwickelt und basiert auf SIMULIA, einer Simulationssoftware der 3DEXPERIENCE Plattform von Dassault Systèmes. Am Stand 3H21 können Besucher das elektrische und mechanische Verhalten des Herzens erleben. Als "Skalpell" dient ein Stift, mit dem der Nutzer das Herz freilegt, dreht und in der Größe verändert. Sogar ein Flug durch die Blutgefäße ist möglich und dank 3D-Ansicht äußerst realistisch.
