MetaSystem and Danfoss finalize exclusive agreement for the sale of grid-connected photovoltaic string inverters in Italy

(PresseBox) (Offenbach/Main, ) MetaSystem, a leading Italian company in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and Danfoss, a multinational leader in frequency converters, announced today the signature of a long term strategic exclusive Agreement for the sale and support of the photovoltaic products of Danfoss, including the UniLynx and TripleLynx series of grid-tied photovoltaic string inverters.

The inverters will be sold by MetaSystem through its extensive sales network, along with other photovoltaic products that will make it easier for installers to approach and do business in photovoltaics using extremely reliable and well supported equipment.

"We recognize in Danfoss a leader in the market with its extensive experience gained in the past years serving the OEM market. They offer the advanced European-based technology which enables innovative performance and complete reliability. The modularity of their products is a concept very similar to our approach in UPS , which makes Danfoss an ideal partner to build with us a strong presence in Italy", said Mr Giuseppe Simonazzi, General Manager of MetaSystem SpA.

"With this Agreement we rely on the local expertise, technical support and sales channels of MetaSystem to develop the Italian market and gain a considerable market share in the next few years", said Mr Henrik Raunkjaer, Managing Director of Danfoss Solar Inverters.

Danfoss will present its UniLynx and TripleLynx inverter ranges for residential and commercial applications at the European Conference EU-PVSEC in Milan, September 3-6, at stand C7 Hall 20. MetaSystem personnel will be present to support Italian customers.
