Die japanische DAIFUKU CO., Ltd. errichtet das erste vollautomatische Hochregallagersystem für Paletten in der Republik der Union Myanmar, ehemals Burma. Der Kunde, das staatliche Unternehmen Myanmar Pharmaceutical Industries, nutzt das System in seinem Produktionszentrum in Yangon unter anderem zur Lagerung und für den Transport von Schlangengegengift. Durch das automatische System profitiert das Unternehmen von einer effizienten Lagerung der wertvollen Rohstoffe.

Im südostasiatischen Myanmar leben zahlreiche giftige Schlangen – entsprechend hoch ist der Bedarf nach Gegengiften bei Schlangenbissen. Angaben der WHO (World Health Organization) zufolge stellte die Myanmar Pharmaceuticals Factory im Zeitraum 2015 bis 2016 in ihrem Produktionszentrum in Yangon rund 52.588 Vrqyjngd Vrqkrclay djt.
