Twenty-five years ago, METTLER-TOLEDO and CSB-System recognized the economic potential provided by integrated weighing systems directly communicating with an ERP system. The goal that both innovative companies set themselves back then and have been pursuing ever since is "Integration through Cooperation".

CSB-System developed the CSB Scales Master which allows easy and fast connection of METTLER-TOLEDO scales to the CSB-Rack (workstation), thus realizing direct online communication between the ERP system and the scales. This form of integration is of special importance in the food industry, as the determination of weight throughout the food processing stages is an integral part of the process.

Sander Gourmet: Exquisite Products for Demanding Customers One of the many successful client projects between METTLER-TOLEDO and CSB-System is the realization of an integrated ERP and logistics solution at the food manufacturing company Sander Gourmet. Since 2002, the industry-specific ERP software solution by CSB-System has been managing all business processes of the three Sander sites in Wiebelsheim, Germany. Here, an exquisite product pallet of ready-to-serve meals, breakfast components, fruit and gourmet salads, stews and desserts for hotels and restaurants, banquets, business catering and care catering are being produced. The successful family business serves demanding clients among which are well-known hotel chains like Hilton and Maritim as well as Deutsche Bahn and IKEA. Sander meets their high quality standards through constant control and analysis of each processing step, including all foods and ingredients entering production. Following the motto "Trust is good, control is better", Sander controls the entire incoming and outgoing commodity flow.
