Crown Worldwide Introduces Its Leadership Development Program
Crown's Leadership Journey Provides Professional Development Training
The program was developed in consultation with Hemsley Fraser, a leading provider of continuing professional development training. Twenty Crown managers were selected for the program and they have just completed the inaugural session, in California, which focused on the building of leadership qualities.
Crown's Leadership Journey falls under the Crown University umbrella where a variety of training methods are applied. This training program will continue for six months and encompasses classroom sessions, business related action learning projects, Webinar skills sessions, case studies and personal competency surveys.
Norah Franchetti, group vice president of Learning & Development, manages the program and expressed her pleasure with its progress: "In line with our people development core value, I am happy to see this new phase in developing Crown's leaders and we have had tremendous feedback from the participants. In every business there is a new norm and companies, leaders and staff must be the best they can to ensure that they meet current business challenges and continue to be successful."
The group will meet again at the start of 2010 to complete the second round of classroom sessions, present the outcome of their projects and move to the next phase of the program.
