Auf der diesjährigen CeBIT führt CP Secure erstmals die neue Version des Content-Security-Gateways CSG 2.0 vor. Weiterer Höhepunkt ist die Vorstellung der Anti-Wurm-Appliance WormSecure.

Gemeinsam mit dem neuen Distributionspartner NOXS Technology präsentiert CP Secure in Halle 6 Stand K16 sein Portfolio an Sicherheitsappliances zum Viren-, Würmer-, Spam- und Content-Schutz. Premiere feiern dabei WormSecure und die neueste Version des Content-Security-Gateways CSG 2.0.

WormSecure ist eine Sicherheitsappliance, die gezielt Angriffe von Netzwerkwürmern abwehrt. Im Gegensatz zu WormSecure können klassische Antivirenlösungen mit Antiwurmfunktionen lediglich von Würmern verseuchte Dateien ausschalten. Für den Benutzer bedeutet dies eine starke Einschränkung der Netzwerkperformance, da die Wurmattacken innerhalb des Netzwerks kontinuierlich weiter gehen. Jedoch filtert WormSecure die Datenpakete zusätzlich zur Applikationsebene auf der Netzwerkprotokollebene und bekämpft so die Auswirkungen des Wurmangriffs.
