Change in Management and Supervisory board at COR&FJA AG
Klaus Hackbarth moves to plenum AG / Johann Zehetmaier and Dr Christian Hofer are elected to the Supervisory Board at the 2012 Annual General Meeting
On the previous Tuesday at the 2012 Annual General Meeting of COR&FJA AG Johann Zehetmaier and Dr Christian Hofer were both elected by a large majority as new members of the company's Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board of COR&FJA AG comprises six members in total. Chairman of the Supervisory Board Prof. Dr Elmar Helten thanked the two departing board members, Prof. Dr Christian Hipp and Dr Klaus J. Weschenfelder, for their long service and commitment to the company.
Johann Zehetmaier is founder and Chairman of the Board of the IT consulting and systems integration company msg systems ag based in Ismaning near Munich, which forms the core of the msg systems group. Amongst other things, he is responsible for the strategy for the insurance branch, which, after more than 30 years in the business, he is extremely well acquainted with. Mr Zehetmaier's outstanding achievements as an entrepreneur were recognised in 2008 with the prestigious 'Entrepreneur of the Year - finalist 2008' award.
Dr Christian Hofer is a former board member of the HUK-COBURG insurance group. In this role he was responsible for overseeing the development and market entry of HUKCOBURG Krankenversicherung AG.
In addition, as Head of the IT and Business Organisation department he was instrumental in setting up the online insurer HUK24. Dr Hofer was also Chairman of the committee for 'Business Administration and Information Technology' for the German Insurance Association (GDV) until the end of 2009.
In addition to the elections to the Supervisory Board, all other resolutions proposed by the management at the Annual General Meeting were adopted by a large majority. The shareholders and proxies present represented 24,989,390 of the total 42,802,453 no-par-value shares into which the share capital is divided, and the same number of votes. This corresponds to 58.38 per cent of the nominal capital of COR&FJA AG.
