Als bisherige Betreiberin des Containerterminals im Mainhafen von Aschaffenburg, verlagert die 'Contargo Aschaffenburg GmbH' ihre Aktivitäten zum Jahresbeginn 2012 nach Frankfurt. Terminal Manager Arndt Puderbach: "Die Beendigung des Mietvertrages am Standort Aschaffenburg brachte uns dazu, unsere Präsenz am Untermain auf die Standorte in Frankfurt zu konzentrieren, zumal diese 3-lagig per Binnenschiff erreicht werden können." Contargo betreibt bereits seit sieben Jahren im Industriepark Höchst ein Containerterminal und verfügt seit kurzem im Frankfurter Osthafen über einen weiteren Standort. Beide Umschlagplätze verfügen über modernes Equipment. Die Spezialität von 'Contargo Industriepark Frankfurt-Höchst' sind der Umschlag und die Lagerung von gefährlichen Gütern aller Gefahrgutklassen in Luqtierqhb.
