The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced that its “call for author proposals” to join Gary's Book Club at the 2015 International CES® is now open. Gary's Book Club showcases the works of prominent authors in the tech industry who are exploring technology’s role in today’s society. CES attendees will have the opportunity to meet the authors, purchase books and get their books signed. The 2015 CES is scheduled for January 6-9, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

To be selected for Gary’s Book Club, books must be launched within the year (January 2014-January 2015). In addition, the book should cover technology, innovation, technology policy, or innovation policy. There is no charge for authors to take part in this program.

“We are thrilled to bring the book club back to CES for a second year to showcase the written work of top tech visionaries,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CEA and best-selling author of Ninja Innovation: The Ten Killer Strategies of the World’s Most Successful Businesses and The Comeback: How Innovation will Restore the American Dream. “We welcome authors to join us on the CES stage to share their insights and highlight the influence technology and innovation has on our everyday lives.”

In its first year at the 2014 CES, Gary’s Book Club welcomed 11 top tech authors and visionaries to the CEA stage in the Grand Lobby for dynamic discussions followed by book signings. Gary’s inaugural Book Club selections included:

About CES:
The International CES is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies.
