connectBlue® Bluetooth Low Energy Modules Pass Japanese Radio Type Approvals

connectBlue today announced that its Bluetooth low energy modules have passed radio type approvals in Japan which expands the use of these products into the Japanese market.

connectBlue's wireless offering consists of Classic Bluetooth, Bluetooth low energy and Wireless LAN (WLAN) solutions. The Classic Bluetooth and WLAN modules are already radio type approved for Japan. Now passed for use in Japan are the connectBlue Bluetooth Low Energy Platform Module OLP425, Bluetooth Low Energy Serial Port Module OLS425 and Bluetooth Low Energy Serial Port Module OLS426.
