Secours Catholique Replaces Legacy ERP with Compiere; Improves Global Financial Operations

Compiere, Inc., the global leader in open source and cloud-based ERP solutions, today announced that France-based Secours Catholique, one of Europe's largest charity organizations with a US$204 million budget, 2,500 global offices and projects and 7.3 million beneficiaries worldwide, has successfully implemented Compiere ERP. By replacing its outdated legacy ERP system with Compiere, Secours Catholique now has in place a modern, adaptable system. It provides real-time information and consolidated reporting for the highly decentralized organization at a fraction of the time of the previous system. Secours Catholique is the French representative of Caritas Internationalis, a confederation of Catholic relief, development and social service organizations.

Secours Catholique is using Compiere to perform budgeting, financial functions, activity tracking and reporting across a complex, multi-level organization structure of 4,000 teams. Compiere has delivered real-time, multi-level decision support, as well as reporting to donors and financial and regulatory organizations. The organization selected Compiere ERP based on its low cost, flexibility and functionality, particularly the technology's ability to support both centralized and local views of its financials across Secours' organizational hierarchy. Compiere, which provides proven methods for financial best practices, also improved budget processing and activity-based reporting for each entity and integrated smoothly with Secours' existing payroll, marketing and donation campaign information systems. Compiere Partner Audaxis, based in France, worked closely with Secours to implement and customize Compiere to its specific business needs.
