Comarch has launched its state-of-the-art Process-Driven Inventory Management solution. The specially designed solution allows the handling of all network-related processes within a network management system in order to significantly reduce the "integration tax" incurred by telco operators. The solution promises to improve the operational efficiency of telecommunications networks.

- We made the decision to construct the Process-Driven Inventory Management system based on the success of Comarch's Inventory Management solution. Our latest solution aims at increasing the potential of an operator's network by enhancing the efficiency of the processes it performs through the integrated, umbrella management of network resources and associated operations. Importantly, the solution serves to reduce the time and high costs resulting from the inefficiencies of systems that are not integrated. Operators can achieve significant savings by implementing Comarch's Process-Driven Inventory Management.- says Piotr Pi?tosa, VP Telecommunications, Comarch.

Comarch Process-Driven Inventory Management enables the defining, management, automation and optimization of network and service processes in compliance with established business and technical rules. The modern solution is based on two other Comarch BSS/OSS modules, namely, Inventory Management and Business Process Management.

Inventory Management is a solution designed to store comprehensive information related to the physical and logical resources of a telecommunications operator's network, thereby enhancing the performance of network operations.

The module enables telecommunication operators to configure networks remotely, thereby facilitating the automation of network operations. This capability realizes the full potential of the network and also lowers costs and improves the quality of the service provided by telecommunication operators.

Comarch Business Process Management module enables the effective management and automation of business processes. The module allows documents, information and tasks to be routed between users according to a set of well-defined rules. It enables the prioritizing of work duties and the subsequent routing of tasks to the most suitable member of staff available. As a result, quality checks, the margin for error and duplication of work is minimized.

Both modules have been incorporated into the Comarch Process-Driven Inventory Management solution to enable businesses to respond to market changes promptly by adjusting their business processes via a user-friendly and graphically-efficient interface.
