Die elektronische Handelsplattform Turquoise setzt auf Ethernet Services von COLT Telecom. Eine optimierte Datenübertragung und die Verringerung der Latenz werden hierdurch gewährleistet. COLT Telecom betreut mehr als 1000 Kunden aus der Finanzbranche in Europa, die über COLT Ethernet Services an den neuen europäischen Aktienhandelsplatz angebunden werden können. Vergleichbar zum XETRA-Handelssystem ist Turquoise eine vollelektronische Handelsplattform. Turquoise wird von neun führenden Investmentbanken aufgebaut und soll Anfang September vollständig am Markt eingeführt werden. An der Markteinführung werden sich mehr als 60 Parteien beteiligen.
