Coatema at the K 2013

The most important trade fair for the plastic and rubber industry, the K, has ended after eight eventfully days. Coatema Coating Machinery GmbH exhibit at the special show "PEPSO" (Printed Electronics Products and Solutions) which was placed in the Entry hall north.

The chairman of the Exhibitors' Advisory Board for the K 2013 was overwhelmed by the results and the number of innovations shown during the fair. Coatema has contributed it's part to that with presenting their newest innovation: The Thin Film Coater. A high precision lab plant for sheet to sheet operation which can coat and print in one step. The application units are equipped with servo drives to ensure a high precision gap adjustment.

As announced Coatema presented a live demonstration on the other plant they presented: the Smartcoater. It showed the coating with the gravure printing unit where a special ink is used. The finishing step was the UV curing with a UV-LED, which is very small, extremely energy-efficient.

Because Coatema showed two of their newest machinery the interest of the visitors was higher than expected. The numerous technical discussions leaded to high range of requests.

The special K offer, the sale of some used machinery from the R&D centre for a special price, got great attention and first successes could be achieved.

The K 2013 was a great success for Coatema because of the huge media interest, the high number of visitors and the qualified visitor traffic with lots of concrete requests.
