Videoüberwachung direkt aufs Cisco-Telefon

Mit der Firmware 7.4.3 für das Cisco SB Pro Telefon SPA525G gibt es seit Anfang Januar die Möglichkeit, den Videostream einer Überwachungskamera direkt auf das Telefon zu streamen. Der Administrator kann über das Webinterface des Telefons bis zu vier Kameras definieren, die dann über das Telefonbedienfeld vom Benutzer einzeln abgerufen und eingesehen werden können. Der Videostream ist auf dem Farbdisplay des Telefons mit 320x240 Pixeln von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Ein Softbutton ermöglicht es, ohne Umweg direkt ein Telefon, das neben der Kamera angebracht ist, anzurufen, beispielsweise, um mit einem Besucher in der Lobby zu sprechen.
