On 16 December 2010 the 2nd stage of the Haidach underground gas storage facility has been handed over by Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH (CAC) to the consortium of RAG / WINGAS / GAZPROM export.
The plant was erected and commissioned on time schedule.
Besides additional storage wells the extension of the Haidach facilities includes two additional compressor units as well as two additional gas drying units with all required auxiliary units.
Main attention was paid to a high flexibility of the whole plant.
