CETECOM enlarges EMC test capacities

(PresseBox) (Essen, ) Summary: Effective November 1st, 2014, CETECOM has enlarged its EMC test capacities in Germany by the acquisition of Mitsubishi Electric's International Approval Center (IAC).

CETECOM is delighted to announce the acquisition of the Mitsubishi Electric International Approval Center (IAC) located in Düsseldorf, Germany.

With this acquisition CETECOM enhances its capacities in the EMC sector. Industry segments which have not been the main focus area for CETECOM so far are now added to the CETECOM portfolio. "The experience and the reputation of the Mitsubishi Electric IAC perfectly match with CETECOM's state-of-the-art service standards", says CETECOM CEO Wilfried Klassmann. "Furthermore, IAC's intensive footprint in markets such as Consumer Electronics, Automotive and Industrial Automation supports further CETECOM's market position and provide various opportunities for further growth."

As of November 1st, 2014, the Mitsubishi Electric International Approval Center (IAC) became part of the CETECOM Group and will continue its operation as subsidiary of CETECOM GmbH.
