ACCTee Pro from Carl Zeiss:The Analysis Is the Measuring Log

Form and surface measurements with completely new quality

(PresseBox) ( Oberkochen, )
ACCTee PRO is the new software for form and surface measuring machines from Carl Zeiss, and replaces the successful TIMS software. It supports the entire product linefrom surface measuring machines to contour and form measuring machines. The new operating concept of ACCTee PROall in the documentsets new standards in surface measuring technology.

ACCTee PRO is based on the latest software development technologies. Compatibility with other Carl Zeiss software products is guaranteed. For example, an interface enables curves captured with CALYPSO® CADbased measuring software to be evaluated in ACCTee PRO.

All in the document

Graphic log design plays a key role in form and surface measuring technology as the calculated values alone are often insufficient for an assessment of product quality. In many cases, an additional graphic display of the recorded measurement data, such as a roundness plot, is required to analyze the results. Even if there is nowadays a wide range of functions for these displays, the compilation of a log generally means a lot of manual adjustments after the measurement and analysis.

ACCTee PRO takes a new approach. The software no longer distinguishes between evaluation and log. The assessment is made using a common analysis window that can be exported as a log. A tree structure next to the analysis window simplifies direct access to all current measurement and analysis data; selected data is marked in the corresponding graphics. In a multipage log, the corresponding page is shown automatically. All data, analysis settings, logs and the settings for the measurement and CNC runs are saved in one document. The improved methods for data processing and analysis considerably simplify operation and increase efficiency by up to 40 percent.

Intelligent wizards

Wizards are available for many functions. For example, during a measurement, ACCTee PRO guides the operator through all required settings. For roughness measurements, a wizard offers various applicationbased parameter combinations. The calibration wizard uses visual aids to guide the operator through the steps needed for stylus qualification. Automatic monitoring of the calibration data reminds the user of the required recalibration based on freely definable intervals or on system statuses. A diagnosis wizard featuring a graphic display of the machine provides assistance when troubleshooting the cause of malfunctions.
