New OTRS integration with baramundi
With the data interface between baramundi and OTRS, the effort related to the administration of inventory data in the IT service is reduced and competitive advantage increase
Mostly the small and medium-sized businesses are confronted with pressure of time and cost as well as lack of personal resources. At the same time, the quality of the delivered service towards the end customers should not be influenced negatively by internal factors. Through integration between tools and automatism within data transfer, the companies win cost advantages that can be directly changed into competitive advantages of the service.
The free and extensive own development of KIX4OTRS is an integrative platform for service processing. It is based on Open Source Software OTRS, an ITIL-conform system for service teams to document and track the internal and external communication effectively. KIX4OTRS is used by more than 2.000 organisations. The software enhances the ergonomics and uses of intelligent interfaces, therefore cost advantages are possible. For integrative and operative issues, c.a.p.e. IT has been developing a wide catalogue of additional modules which include module maintenance and porting of functionalities for current OTRS versions.
Next to the integration with the client management tools like baramundi, opsi or OCS Inventory NG, further additional maintained modules integrate telephone systems for automatic classification of customers, ERP and web shop systems for order and delivery data, as well as project service catalogues flexibly or ship improved and management-friendly KPI reports.
