SIC-Transceiver für CAN FD

CAN FD ist in ISO 11898:2016 international genormt. Diese Norm erlaubt in der Datenphase eines CAN-FD-Telegrammes Bitraten höher als 1 Mbit/s. Die erreichbare Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit hängt von der Netzwerktopologie sowie den gewählten Komponenten wie Kabel und Steckverbindern ab. Verwendet man eine Buslinien-Topologie mit sehr kurzen Stichleitungen, so kann man 2 Mbit/s beziehungsweise 5 Mbit/s erreichen. Dies hängt untern anderem von den gewählten Transceivern ab. Bei nicht idealer Netzwerkauslegung muss man die Bitrate reduzieren. Alternativ kann man sogenannte SIC-Transceiver (Signal Improvement Capability) verwenden, die das „Klingeln“ auf den Signalleitungen unterdrücken. SIC-Transceiver sind in CiA 601-4 spezifiziert.
