CAN in Automation (CiA) bietet CAN- und CANopen-In-house-Seminare und -Beratungsdienstleitungen an, die auf Kundenwünsche abgestimmt sind. Während die allgemeinen CAN- und CANopen-Seminare einem festen Ablauf haben, passt CiA In-house-Seminare und Beratung individuell den Bedürfnissen der Teilnehmer an. Flexibel gestaltet CiA hierzu Kursinhalte, das Verhältnis von Theorie zu Praxis, Ort und Zeitraum des Unterrichts oder der Beratung. Neben theoretischen Ansätzen kann CiA auch Implementierungshilfen und praktische Hinweise anbieten. Alle Lehrinhalte und Beratungen sind Hersteller-neutral gestaltet und werbefrei.

Gewöhnlicherweise referieren die CiA-Seminarleiter die physikalischen CAN-Schicht-Möglichkeiten, die CAN-Daten-Link-Schicht und höhere CAN-Protokolle.
