Die BWT AG hat ihr zweites Aktienrückkaufprogramm am 30. Juni 2009 abgeschlossen. Zwischen 28. August und 30. Juni 2009 wurden im Rahmen des zweiten Rückkaufprogrammes 348.015 Stück eigene Aktien, das sind 2,0% der ausgegebenen Aktien, zu einem Durchschnittspreis von 14,76 € zurückgekauft. Zusammen mit den Aktien aus dem ersten Rückkaufprogramm hat die BWT 6,2 Mio. € investiert und hält nunmehr 387.419 Stück oder 2,17% der gesamt ausstehenden Aktien, der Durchschnittspreis beträgt 15,90 €.
