Die wichtigsten Pflichten der Hersteller von Medizinprodukten aus dem Stoff- und dem Abfallrecht werden auf dem MedInform-Workshop ?Umweltrecht und Medizinprodukte" am 20. Mai 2010 in Berlin praxisnah aus dem Unternehmensalltag erläutert. Thematisch geht es unter anderem um die Pflichten aus der Chemikalienverordnung REACH, um neue Anforderungen an Elektrogeräte-Hersteller, das Batteriegesetz sowie neue Pflichten aus der Verpackungsverordnung. Stoffrecht und Abfallrecht bestimmen verstärkt das Handeln der Hersteller von Medizinprodukten. Dabei schafft die Einhaltung des Medizinprodukterechts kaum Erleichterung. Zwar geben die grundlegenden Anforderungen einen verlässlichen Rechtsrahmen, der die Gesundheit und Sicherheit von Patienten, Anwendern und Dritten gewährleistet.
