Böllinghaus Steel donates 55.000 Euro to hospital in Leiria amid Covid-19 pandemic

Böllinghaus Steel has made a significant donation of 55.000 € to the Centro Hospitalar in Leiria. The donation will be used to support the hospital, its health care workers and patients affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through the purchase of critical equipment and supplies for the fight against the virus.

Now it's the time to stand together,” explained Hartwig Härtel and Nina Härtel, Managing Directors of Böllinghaus Steel.

Established in 1889, Böllinghaus Steel, is a producer of stainless steel long products. The German family-run business is managed in the fourth and fifth generation by Hartwig Härtel and his daughter Nina Härtel. With its headquarters in Hilden, Germany, the company has also sales offices in the United States and Italy. Böllinghaus Steel’s production facility is located in Vieira de Leiria, where the company has been operating since 1996.
