HS 200 Trend - new Headset from beyerdynamic introduced at AERO EXPO

The Aviation business unit of the German audio specialist beyerdynamic is constantly adding to its product range. From now on, the new HS 200 Trend headset, which was introduced at the AERO EXPO in London (June 13-15 2008), will be available. It provides all those features that made the HS 300 Individual a "shooting star" such as superior comfort with a very good passive noise attenuation, excellent speech intelligibility and the "Made in Germany" quality.

The audio box to connect an MP3 player or mobile phone was abandoned, because not every pilot wants to phone or listen to some music during a flight. The more successful beyerdynamic became in the Aviation market, the more the demand of these customers grew for a suitable beyerdynamic headset - the HS 200 Trend. With its black design and silver bezels the HS 200 Trend visually differs from the HS 300 Individual. The quality standard, however, is unchanged, which becomes clear when you take this headset in your hands. As is usual, all structural parts are made of metal. The design has been used a thousand times for many professional audio products at beyerdynamic. While other manufacturers are outsourcing to the Far East and accept a loss in quality for a cheaper price, beyerdynamic also produces the new HS 200 Trend in Heilbronn. As with all Aviation headsets a five-year warranty and service is provided. "The success confirms our concept", says David Thimm, manager of the business unit. "Meanwhile we deliver several thousand headsets a year, including to well-known customers such as Diamond Aircraft Industries and Comco Ikarus. The HS 200 Trend will continue this success story.
