Industry veteran Gian Piero Staffa has been named to the position of BEHRINGER Vice President of Sales, Europe. Active in the MI and Pro Audio industry for more than 30 years, GP will lead sales activities, growth and development of all BEHRINGER brands and products in Europe.

Staffa comes to BEHRINGER from Alto, the audio company that he founded and for which he served as VP of Marketing and R&D. He has worked in virtually every capacity in the audio market, from floor salesperson to shop owner, distributor and manufacturer.

"When I first met Uli Behringer, I was a competitor. I wish I had met him before," observed Staffa. He continued, "What I recently saw from BEHRINGER, in terms of product development and manufacturing capability, organization and potential, left me speechless. I decided immediately, this is the company everybody would like to work with. I have never seen such dedication and potential in any other company in this field including my own!"

Although based in Italy, Staffa will apply a hands-on approach to market building and sales management throughout Europe. "Most of my time will be on the road visiting BEHRINGER customers in order to make our company more aware of our customers needs and wishes," he explained.

Chairman Uli Behringer stated, "We are thrilled and honored to have an industry figure of Gian Piero s stature join our organization. He brings a level of expertise and energy to BEHRINGER that will help us take the brand to new levels."
