Bechtle wins NATO contract
Bechtle to supply hardware for NATO's IT Modernization pro-ject (ITM) / Contract worth up to 45 million euros over the course of at least next five years
(PresseBox) (Neckarsulm/Bonn, )NATO will procure IT end devices from Bechtle to facilitate an extensive modernisation of its IT infrastructure and ensure the use of standardised IT equipment across all NATO sites. As NATO’s prime contractor, Bechtle AG will fulfil the ITM WP2 contract together with its long-standing partner Dell Inc. who will deliver the hardware, as well as IT security specialist GBS Tempest & Service GmbH to proof the devices against tempest attacks designed to gather intelligence from electromagnetic emission.
The central project organisation lies with Bechtle AG, while a dedicated team located at Bechtle’s Bonn branch will be in charge of all operational tasks required by the alliance. Bechtle’s international logistics network will ensure on-time delivery of IT equipment to a total of 44 NATO sites.
