Baumüller and Sensor-Technik Wiedemann expand the product series

Nürnberg, (PresseBox) - The Nuremberg automation specialist, Baumüller and the Kaufbeuren micro and power electronics manufacturer, Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) now offer their successful drive concept, powerMELA® in the performance class up to 40 kW.

The drive concept powerMELA® has proven itself in numerous applications with its current performance classes up to 80 kW and 140 kW. The powerful and compact drive with an integrated converter is used in electrical and hybrid mobile processing machines and utility vehicles, such as harvesters, city buses or snow groomers.

With the new performance class up to 40 kW, there is now a solution for smaller vehicles or for auxiliary drives in larger mobile machines such as fan drives, trailer drives, drives on harvesting arms, etc. With the expansion of the range of products, the two companies are solidifying their presence in the mobile drive technology market.
