Basler wins multi-million Euro contract for color filter inspection systems

Basler AG - a leading company in the Vision Technology segment - has won a contract from AU Optronics, Taiwan - one of the world's leading manufacturers of flat-screen modules - to supply two new generations 7.5 and 8.5 production lines with inspection systems. The systems check the quality of so-called color filters on flat-screen glass. Color filters are made of thin color filter layers that make it possible to display color image information on flat-screen displays.
