Basler AG increases guidance for financial year 2017

New sales forecast: Euro 140 - 150 million
New profit forecast: EBT margin 15 - 18 %

AG, the leading global manufacturer of industrial cameras is increasing its guidance for financial year 2017.

After an extraordinarily strong first quarter, incoming orders continued to develop above expectations in the second quarter. Against this background, the management board of Basler AG is increasing the sales forecast for the financial year 2017 from previously Euro 120 - 130 million to Euro 140 - 150 million.

Additionally, the higher sales level combined with stable gross margins prompts the management board to also increase the profit forecast for the current financial year. Henceforth, the expected pre-tax return margin will be within a corridor of 15 - 18 % (previously 13 - 15 %).

For the remaining two quarters, the company assumes a solid development of the incoming orders, however, not on the same high level as in the first half year of 2017.

The company's half year report will be published on August 9, 2017.
