Becoming aware of differences
BASF's latest Coatings Partner e-journal focuses on new markets
The e-journal presents the company's new activities in Asia and Africa and also spotlights long-standing successful partnerships, such as the ones in Russia, with steel manufacturer Novolipetsk Steel and with Volkswagen in Kaluga.
"Based on my own professional experience, I know how important it is to engage with various cultures in order to become aware of the various differences. This kind of insight provides an essential foundation for solid partnerships and for our activities in the new markets," said Peter Fischer, Senior Vice President, Coatings Solutions Asia Pacific, in the editorial of the e-journal. One example of this active involvement is a new resin lab BASF constructed in Shanghai in order to expand its regional research and development competence for the long term.
Coatings Partner is particularly targeted at BASF customers and business partners, as well as the interested public. In addition to the print edition, which is published once a year, separate e-journals appear three times a year. Apart from the latest e-journal on "new markets", you can also order the latest print edition in English or German online at www.coatingspartner.com. Other e-journals and an article archive are available as well.
