IP67 Ultrasonic Generator - The world's first waterproof ultrasound generator for the use in humid and dusty environments
(PresseBox) (Berlin, )For the operation of ultrasonic cleaning systems, the supplied mains frequency must be converted to the ultrasonic frequency of 25 or 40 kHz by means of an electronic ultrasonic generator. The resulting conversion losses are transported from the housing by means of ventilation in the case of conventional generators.
High dust loads such as galvanic technology, direct water jets in the food industry or aggressive atmospheres have led to shortened lifetimes of ultrasonic generators in these applications.
The world's first IP67 generator enables the hermetic encapsulation of all electronic components and prevents the soiling of the internal parts. The waste heat generated in the housing is discharged to the environment in a highly effective manner via new, external cooling ribs. Thus, the SG generator can be operated without restrictions both in damp rooms and in the open air.
In combination with a fully water-tight immersible transducer, the IP67 generator provides a heavy duty retrofit solution for existing cleaning baths. The customer-tailored immersible transducers are attached to the side walls or the bottom of a tub and supply the entire tub with an intensively cleaning cavitation field. The immersible transducer and generator are connected to each other by a prefabricated cable at the installation site, which saves additional installation effort. The maximum ultrasonic power per generator is 1,500 watts.
Thanks to the robust stainless steel housing, with mounting devices for wall mounting, no separate control cabinet is needed to operate the ultrasound system. This significantly reduces the installation costs of the cleaning section compared to conventional systems. Thanks to the water-protected connections, the system can be easily integrated into the control infrastructure by means of an RS232 interface or a remote control port. The front panel also provides information on the operating state of the ultrasonic unit during cleaning.
