Defekte am Betriebssystem von Visualisierungsgeräten führen häufig auch zum Ausfall der Maschine. Mit dem Bachmann System Maintenance Stick (BSM-Stick) können die betroffenen Geräte einfach und schnell neu aufgesetzt werden. So entstehen keine zusätzlichen Kosten für Serviceeinsätze oder die Vorhaltung eines Gerätetausch-Pools. Gleichzeitig wird die Verfügbarkeit von Terminals bzw. Industrie-PCs (IPC) und damit der gesamten Anlage erhöht.

Der BSM-Stick kombiniert einen 8 GB USB-Stick mit dem Bachmann System Maintenance Utility, einem grafischen Sicherungs- und Wiederherstellungsprogramm für Linux- und Windows-Terminals oder Industrie-PCs von Bachmann electronic.
