Begonnen hatte alles vor einigen Jahren mit einem von Firmenboss Udo Besser handgefertigten Plattenspieler für seinen Sohn zu dessen 18. Geburtstag. Nun ist es soweit: Die heutigen Plattenspieler von AVM sind verfügbar und hören auf den Namen ROTATION – so erklärt sich das "R" in der Modellbezeichnung. Entwickelt wurden die technisch aufwendigen Laufwerke in der badischen Edelmanufaktur von AVM. Der EVOLUTION R 5.3 wartet mit einer Vielzahl an cleveren Lösungen auf: So entlastet die elipsozentrische Riemenführung die Plattentellerachse vollständig. Zudem verhindert die aluminiumverstärkte Composite-Zarge jegliche Resonanzen, während der kardanisch gelagerte 10" Tonarm ebenfalls eine Eigenentwicklung aus dem Hause AVM ist.
