The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee Names Avaya the Official Telecommunication Equipment Supplier for the 2014 Olympic Games
Avaya will provide the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee with all technology solutions and communication equipment required to create a single Games telecommunication infrastructure which will integrate the competition venues, press centers and the Olympic Village. The solution includes data transfer equipment, including switches, routers and information security systems, as well as communication equipment, such as telephone and contact center systems. Avaya experts will design and test the systems together with the Sochi 2014 technology partners.

Since January, 2009 the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee has signed cooperation contracts and agreements of intent for 1.2 billion dollars, which is a record for the Winter Olympic Games.
The list of international IOC partners that signed the Olympic Games Sochi 2014 contracts includes Coca-Cola, Atos, Dow Chemical, General Electric, OMEGA, Panasonic, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, and Visa.
Today, the 2014 Games General Partners are Aeroflot, Megafon, Rostelecom, Rosneft, Russian Railways, Serbank Russia, VOLKSWAGEN Group Rus and BOSCO Sport. The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee partners are Ingosstrakh and PwC. Official suppliers of the Sochi 2014 games are Kommersant. Publishing House and EF English First. The 2014 Games suppliers are Abrau Durso, Microsoft Rus, Russian Buses - GAZ Group, Scania-Rus.
